• I was born and raised in Michigan where my family was very supportive and open to my interests. In high school I became serious about art. Senior year I enrolled in the Advanced Placement art program where I had a drawing chosen for the Advanced Placement Studio Art Exhibition. My success encouraged me to further my art and make a career of it.

Studying illustration at the College for Creative Studies, my work focuses on the concept of beauty, using my inspirations of fashion, nature, and pop culture. Through my work I want viewers to share my vision of what I think is beautiful and experience my thoughts, passions, and feelings through what is shown. I combine styles of realism and graphic design for a dramatic look, further emphasized by my tendency to work larger in scale. I love minimalist design, but also admire the skill that comes with portraying realistic objects, so I pay high attention to detail and authenticity when rendering.

I think everything in life is art. What you do. How you dress. The way you love someone and the way you talk. Your smile and your personality. What you believe in and all your dreams. The way you drink your tea. How you decorate your home. Or party. Your grocery list. The food you make. How your writing looks. The way you feel.
